There's no way you should be "thankful" for ANY of the crap you're putting up with. Actual companies that employ actual people are supposed to be able to actually PAY those people properly and in a timely fashion - if they don't then they're incompetent jackasses at best and criminals at worst and certainly not deserving of any employee gratitude or loyalty.
