A little piece of fail from my training class yesterday:

Some people got in a discussion about Barack Obama and whether or not he's supposed to be president because he's not a US citizen (honestly, shouldn't that have been put to rest by now?), and in the middle of that discussion, I hear the following lines:

Guy - If they want a black guy t be president, they should give him a nam like "Jim Jones" or something, so then people will think he's white.
Girl - Yeah, it's so much easier when everyone has English names.

...There really are no words.

The new apartment.

Yesterday we took measurements of the new apartment. Today we brought a few things over, and I took some pictures of the place before the camera died. The battery no longer really holds a charge; just another thing I'm going to have to buy a new one of when I have the money.

Anyway, I got a few good pictures, so I figure I'll put them here and give you all a virtual tour of the apartment!

Can't wait to see what it'll all look like with all our stuff in it! I expect more pictures will come then, if I can convince my camera to work long enough.
